Our shiurim are designed to help students develop the skills needed to study Torah on an advanced level. Reishit's shiurim are known for their crisp and systematic presentations, for the wealth of information that is conveyed, and for the many lively and entertaining discussions that take place every day. Most importantly, every rebbe is focused on presenting all ideas with the highest degree of clarity possible; every phrase, nuance, and idea is defined, explored and crystallized.

Students are encouraged to challenge, probe, and to question. There exists an exceptional openness to theological inquiry that enables every talmid to discover not only what the Torah says, but philosophical ideas underlying these concepts.

Gemara, Chumash, Navi, Mishnah, Practical Halacha, Philosophy, Tefillah, Mussar, and Chassidut all play an integral part in Reishit's broad academic schedule. Reishit also maintains an unusually low talmid-to-rebbe ratio, thereby enabling all students to participate fully in the shiurim, as well as engendering close and lasting friendships between the students and the rabbeim.
